Our 10 charities campaign has raised over £1300 so a huge thank you to all who donated!

What a party!

Thank you to all who celebrated our birthday with us last week... whether you came to the event and experienced the quite frankly amazing magician Sam Strange who everyone was talking about all night, witnessed the glorious Jonquil or fell in love with the beautiful Exlovers... or whether you bought some tickets on our Booking Free Day and saved yourself some money, we hope you enjoyed it!

Booking Free Day / 10 Charities 10 Days - your choice!

So on the 19th April we're getting rid of booking fees for one day only - this means you can book tickets to anything you fancy and pay NO booking fee on top. But we know our customers are a caring bunch, so we're offering the chance to donate what you would have paid as a booking fee to charity instead, should you wish to.

We'll be splitting the money raised between these charities, each picked by a WeGotTickets staff member:

We'll be continuing to run the charity donations campaign for 10 days after our birthday, making sure there's enough to go round the 10 we've chosen. If you'd like to make a donation, every little helps as they say, and you'll have the chance to do so at the basket stage when booking tickets.

"Booking Free" Day - Monday 19th April

We want to say a big "thank you" to you, our loyal customers, by doing away with our booking fees completely for our birthday on Monday 19th April. This means you'll be able to book any tickets you like and pay absolutely nothing on top of the face value - so if you had your eye on some pricey festival tickets and want to save a few pounds, save the date and book on our birthday.

WeGotTickets is 10 Years Old!

It's WeGotTickets' 10th Birthday on the 19th April and in the world of online ticketing that means we're really old, so we need YOU to help us celebrate! We've got two special ways lined up to mark the occasion, and this blog is the place to keep up-to-date with all the news.

Our history: Back in 2000, we were promoting a sell-out show at the Bull & Gate and decided to pioneer the use of e-tickets, selling via our online shop www.OxfordMusic.net. Thus the concept of WeGotTickets was born! The system worked so well that by 2002 we had developed a dedicated site, decided on a name for it, and offered it to other events organisers across the UK. A lot goes on behind the scenes here at WeGotTickets, but the biggest changes are still to come with further groundbreaking developments expected later this year.
